Dear students,
lectures from American Literature: Selected Chapters and Gender in Literature: American Literature with docent Kolář will take place on Tuesday (24.4.) from 8.55 to 11.10 in room AP0S2 and on Wednesday (25.4.) from 13.30 to 15.45 in room AP1P1.
These two lectures are compulsory for all students enrolled in the course of American Literature: Selected Chapters and Gender in Literature: American Literature.
Students are required to prepare for the seminars in advance by reading the following texts:

- Charlotte Perkins Gilman - The Yellow Wallpaper
- Jhumpa Lahiri - Interpreter of Maladies
- Paule Marshall - To Da-Duh
- Jamaica Kincaid - Lucy
- Hisaye Yamamoto - Seventeen Syllables
